Fashion isn’t just clothes, but a tangible, living expression of art, used for self-expression, communicating identity, and shaping social interactions, turning everyday life and personal style into creative canvases that reflect and influence culture. It suggests fashion makes art accessible, bringing creativity out of galleries and into daily life, allowing individuals to tell stories and convey status or feelings through how they present themselves.

Sophia Montesinos is a junior at Colonia High School. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball for both her school and club team as a defensive specialist. Montesinos is also an avid reader, her favorite genre, or genre she “specializes” in, is romance. Her favorite authors of this genre include Jenny Han, Anna Huang and Hannah Grace. In school, she participates in various activities, including Student Council, SPTS, Patriot Pals, and Class Office. She is the class president for the class of 2027! During the summer, she spends her days down by the shore, specifically Seabright. She also enjoys traveling with her family to places all around the world in the summer, including Spain, Mexico, Canada and many more. After high school, she hopes to attend Penn State University one day for broadcast journalism and live near the beach.
